Brian DENO

Brian Deno is a seasoned transportation and supply chain executive with over 40 years of leadership experience spanning logistics, procurement, and technology. As Senior Vice President of Technology at Sourcing Insights, Brian leads the continued development of the company’s proprietary SOURCINGSHARK® platform and its advanced data extraction processes. His unique ability to pair hands-on industry expertise with strategic, forward-thinking leadership has been instrumental in scaling the company to serve clients with large and complex data environments. 

Brian holds a B.A. in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College where he continued his passion for baseball as a four-year starter. Brian is also a certified ISO Auditor. 

Brian began his career at a small, family-owned transportation company, where close collaboration with a major publicly traded client led to a pivotal opportunity: helping launch a new business unit within their organization. This leap of faith required multiple family relocations, but it sparked a decades-long journey in the transportation sector that shaped his entrepreneurial drive and collaborative leadership style. He went on to serve as Logistics Manager at RR Donnelley, where he was a founding team member who launched Donnelley Logistics Services, managing over 75,000 truckload shipments annually across 18 U.S. locations. Later, as Purchasing Consortium Program Director at Wabash National Corporation, he co-developed and led a $4 billion industrial purchasing consortium. During this time, he worked closely with CEO Steve Miller, who remains a trusted mentor, and played a critical role in building cross-industry collaboration models that drive operational efficiencies. Since joining Sourcing Insights in 2017, Brian has been a driving force in the company’s strategic direction and technology innovation. He also brings entrepreneurial credentials, having founded and led two transportation startups earlier in his career.

Outside of work, Brian is a committed community leader, long-time youth sports coach, and active board member with local baseball and softball programs. Together with his family, he runs a charitable fund, Dee & Gene Deno Scholarship Fund that has provided over a quarter of a million dollars to scholarships and financial assistance to students at their local high school. 

A passionate sports fan, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Deb, their three children, Bri, Shelby, and Nate, and their seven grandchildren. He credits Deb’s unwavering support as one of the key pillars of his professional success.
