CEO & Co-Founder
Steve serves as CEO and Co-Founder for Sourcing Insights. He is a seasoned procurement executive, having previously served as Vice President and General Manager for publicly traded Wabash National Corporation, a leading manufacturer of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems.
Steve also created and led IPC, his second industrial purchasing consortium, which grew to the annual purchasing power of over $4 billion and was twice named among the Top 50 “Pros to Know” in purchasing.
His distinguished career includes leading roles in global procurement strategies, business startup, and growth initiatives, acquisitions, supply chain management, engineering, and capital equipment procurement.
From 2001-2005, Steve was the Vice President for Global Supply Chain at Wabash Technologies, a global manufacturer of automotive sensors and cables. Steve served in several roles at Cummins Engine Company spanning 20 years. From 1994 to 1999 he led a new product introduction team with responsibility for $300M in capital investments for a new engine platform. Instructor certifications include Project Management, New Product Introduction, and Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt.
Steve is an author of several supply chain publications, including “Making the Grade” on measurement and sustainability of supplier performance. Steve has served on the Conference Leadership Board of Directors since 2015 for the Institute of Supply Management.
CTO & Co-Founder
Karl serves as CTO and Co-Founder of Sourcing Insights. He has over 25 years of experience working in the software development and technology industry. He began his career at Cooper & Lybrand now known as PriceWaterWaterhouseCooper where he earned his CPA and CISA.He then went on to assume the role of Manager of Business Process Re-Engineering for the Dexter Corporation. Karl was actively involved in international projects both in Europe and Asia. It was then that Karl was able to bring all of his education and experience to the table while discerning how data solutions succeed and fail in real-world corporate environments. After his time at Dexter, Karl was at Ernst and Young as an Application Controls Consultant for SAP.
In 1999 Karl founded Technology Insight Corporation (TIC) and set to bring laser-sharp result-oriented solutions to the Recovery Audit industry.
After working 10 plus years in the audit and consulting sectors, Karl was convinced that clients could be better served by a company that understood how to deploy targeted solutions instead of static half-measures. By combining his expertise in accounting and computer science, he was able to design a revolutionary software technology that delivers exceptional value to his clients.
It was then in 2017 that Karl and Steve came together and developed a propriety software platform called “SourcingShark” and created what is known today as Sourcing Insights LLC.
Brian serves as Vice President of Sourcing Insights. He is a highly skilled executive leader in the Supply Chain industry, having over 30 years of experience.
Previously, he served as Purchasing Consortium Program Director for publicly traded Wabash National Corporation, a leading manufacturer of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems. Brian was a key leader in the development of the companies industrial purchasing consortium, which grew to the annual purchasing power of over $4 billion.
Before working at Wabash National, Brian also served as a Logistics Manager for RR Donnelly, a Fortune 500 company specializing in commercial printing. During his time there, he helped implement and launch Donnelly Logistics Service division as well as leading the logistics service team that processed over 75,000 truckload movements a year across 18 facilities across the US.
He is known for his entrepreneurial background, having owned his own transportation company and taking part in two startup companies.
Brian brings a wealth of knowledge in contract negotiations across many industries along with a history of proven results and company growth.
Director of Client Development
Tyler serves as Director of Client Development for Sourcing Insights. He brings a wealth of knowledge in industries from all perspectives, with his background focusing on purchasing and outside sales.
He began his career at 3D Machine, an industrial equipment supplier, assuming the role of Purchasing Manager. He led the organization's procurement division focusing on key metrics such as inventory reduction and just in time delivery.
Tyler previously served as a Business Development Manager, in the Copper and Brass Sales Division, for ThyssenKrupp Materials, a world-class metal distributor. There, he was responsible for the state of Indiana. He consistently saw year-over-year growth with the territory and was awarded supplier of the year.
Tyler is known for his strong leadership, and outside of the box thinking, who values relationships.
Client Development Manager
Cameron serves as the Client Development Manager at Sourcing Insights. He brings his wealth of knowledge and expertise in the Retail and Manufacturing industry.
Before joining the team at Sourcing Insights, Cameron held a position at Macy’s Inc. as a Senior Analyst, in their Strategic Sourcing division. There, he identified and implemented cost reduction opportunities as well as supported capital sourcing projects for the growth of 100 stores remodels, 50 backstage locations, and corporate offices across the United States.
He also has held an internship position at Cummins Inc. and Purdue Ventures, assuming the role as Sourcing Specialist Intern and Contract Analyst.
Cameron is a member of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCMP). His strong networking skills and attention to detail make him a great addition to the team.
He is a graduate of Purdue University receiving a B.S degree in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Organizational Leadership.
Client Development Executive
Alison serves as the Client Development Executive for Sourcing Insights. She brings a wealth of knowledge from working in diverse industries that include technology, purchasing consortiums, and industrial supplies. She is a strategic thinker who develops new business relationships by understanding clients’ needs and delivering solutions.
Most Recently, she was an Account Executive at Technology Insight where she worked with Fortune 500 clients to identify and prevent duplicate payments using Technology Insight’s proprietary software, “DataShark” along with providing Recovery Audit solutions.
Alison previously served as Program Director for OMNIA Partners who provides procurement and supply chain management services to both the public and private sectors. In her role she provided cost savings opportunities to help streamline her client’s procurement needs. She also served as Manager of Member Recruiting for Prime Advantage buying consortium where she led business development by focusing on the private sector with an emphasis on manufacturing companies.
She began her career at W.W. Grainger, North America’s leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair, and operation products. She was promoted to several different roles, including Site Relationship Manager and Account Manager roles for both Commercial and Government sales. She worked with a diverse group of customers which included Manufacturing, Retail, Federal Government, Municipalities, Universities and Colleges. During this time, she was awarded for being the top performing Site Relationship Manager in the company.
She is a graduate from the University of Kansas and holds a B.S. degree in Communications.
